RSL & machine licensing interoperability audit.

Phase D is now a frozen production baseline. This page summarizes what ContentDividend implements, what remains intentionally outside the current scope, and the rights boundary every machine-facing feature must preserve.

Core rule: discovery, negotiation, payment, an RSL document, an OLP request, a signed credential, or an agent receipt does not by itself grant publisher content rights. Current license state and exact publisher authorization remain authoritative.

D1–D4 · Publisher RSL foundation

Frozen. Preference translation, RSL generation/publication, website association verification and registered asset catalogs.

D5–D7 · Discovery + OLP

Frozen. Public RSL discovery, RSL-aware buyer discovery and the authenticated OLP compatibility bridge.

D8–D10 · Verifiable credentials

Frozen. Machine credentials, Ed25519 proofs, live credential status and signed agent verification receipts.

D11–D13 · Enforcement + procurement

Frozen. Publisher-controlled OLP advertisement, Resource Server authorization, conformance self-profile and end-to-end agent procurement discovery.

Normative OLP grant

client_credentials. The older rsl spelling remains only as a backward-compatible ContentDividend extension.

Known limitation: EMS

Not implemented. ContentDividend does not currently provision or release encrypted-media decryption keys.

Certification

Not claimed. The public matrix is an implementation self-profile, not third-party RSL certification.

Future changes

Future phases may extend this baseline, but they must not silently weaken agreement approval, payment verification, publisher activation, exact-resource authorization, credentials or delivery controls.
